Where Have All Our Red Sox Gone? : When the Red Sox finally broke the curse in the Fall of 2004 the players were not alone in their celebration. After 86 years of waiting, the former players of the Boston Red Sox were able to share in the crowning of the new world champions. Frommer goes out to find these faded stars and forms a collection of profiles and stories ranging from the infamous Bill Buckner of the 1986 team to the oldest former Red Sox, Bill Werber, at 97 years old. Frommer finds that all the men are still somehow connected to the team, whether as a consultant, a speaker, or just in spirit.
