Resumen:

Remember the Truth: Believing in Goodness in Today's China : They brought out a pair of cold handcuffs and shackled me tightly. From start to finish, I did not say a word. I only had one thought in my mind. No matter what lies ahead, I will never falter or retreat, because there is nothing wrong with Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance.

This is the true story of Hongwei Lou and her husband, who discover the Chinese spiritual practice Falun Gong in their late twenties. Their health improves, their marriage becomes more harmonious, and their careers and financial situations improve.

They aren't the only people who notice the benefits of Falun Gong. By 1999, 100 million people one out of 12 in China are practicing this ancient meditation practice. The communist regime in China also notices. Unable to tolerate anything more popular than itself, the regime begins a brutal nationwide campaign to eradicate the practice. The police and judicial systems at every level are ordered to Destroy their reputations, exhaust them financially, eliminate them physically. Hongwei and her husband decide to write letters to government officials explaining the benefits of the practice, and they are promptly arrested and sentenced to a nightmarish year in one of China's hidden labor camps.
