Resumen:

Emily Goes To Market : Emily and her Grandma are working hard on making a new patchwork counterpane for Emily's bed. Patches of red, green, gold and several sorts of blue combine to make the beautiful quilt. But then Grandma discovers that she does not have quite enough patches to finish, so she sends Emily out to the market to buy some more material from Miss Tulliver's stall. Emily sets off, down the garden path, on an everyday errand that is transformed into a magical adventure.
