Overview:
The Great Game of Politics : From our nation's inception there has been a constant dynamic of tension between those political philosophies that we have labeled the left and the right despite the fact that the vast majority of voting citizens really fall into the category of moderates. Back and forth, the power shifts, Republican or Democrat, the pendulum swings constantly between the parties. Why? Dick Stoken highlights the shifts that can force the pendulum back toward the center, which usually results in the changing of the party in power at the executive level. Stoken looks at all of the presidents and determines who had the most influence on our nation's direction, who failed, who stayed the course, and who charted a new one.
